Tornado Weather!!

This is after James had moved it away from our porch! It doesn't look very big...but this was the top part of the tree, it was very long and the base was thick!
Still pulling!!

Okay, the weather around this place has been absolutely crazy! Wtop's news host...called Southern Maryland..."Ground Zero" for all the bad weather so far this year in the D.C. area! Yesterday, as you all know...I took Meg and Ty to the doctors, then went to my mother's, then to church....While at my mother's there was a Tornado warning...several infact, all day long. We were told to find shelter, go to the basement if you had one...all the usual for tornadoes. So, we all ran down stairs, boy it was so scary!! The wind was howling, things were flying, trees were swaying...it was crazy. We didn't have a tornado there, but when James and I got home afterwards (like twenty minutes from my parent's house), there were trees and branches everywhere...a tall tree just missed our front porch! We couldn't believe it! And when James moved the tree from out of our yard today...we walked back to where the tree spilt...we were expecting to see the base of the tree and the roots...but we didn't...no where...wow, it was like something picked this tree up and placed it in our front yard!!We think something touched down here right in our very own front yard! Wow, talk about an awesome God! Nothing at all was damaged! Praise the Lord!! So here are some pictures...

WOW is right, God is so good He kept His hand over your home while you were away....and you and the babies were at your Mom's where there was a basement...coincidence...I don't think so, He has the whole world in His hands. Thank you, Lord for watching over James, Sarah, Megs and Ty and their home that they have dedicated to you, we praise your Holy name...Amen
We miss all of you soooo much!

Whoo hoo...tornadoes are AWESOME! I am so blessed to live in OK where we can see them all the time. ;-) I would love to be a storm chaser!
