Don't You WISH
Don't you wish our children's pediatricians were like Dr. Baker. I wish the doctor's could come to us, or better yet get someone to bring us the meds... Tyler and Megan are all raspy and they are both coughing. I know it is just from the allergies. I called this morning to see if the doc could call in a prescription, but I knew already what they would say....they would say, "No.". My mom told me when Meg was first born to just get the doc to call in the prescription because that is what she used to do, well now, I tried they will not call it in...you have to come in first! Even though you are the mother, and know that it is the same symptoms as all of the other times!! And if you let the allergy cough go long enough, it will turn in to something worse. So, tomorrow morning I will be going in...huff, puff, hufff, huff, puff!!!! I should've been a doctor! Would save on all the $15 co-pays for each child! Pray for Megan and Tyler to get better. Thanks!

3 left some love:
I hear you! Every time my son gets sick, his symptoms mysteriously disappear when we get to the doctor, and I look like the crazy mom. That night they come back. It drives me crazy.
Sarah,
Instead of getting an anti-biotic, see if the Dr. can give you an allergy medication that you can give them on a daily basis. So that they do not build up a resistance to the anti-biotics if they do then the meds have to be stronger and stronger until there will not be a strong enough anti-biotic to help, when they actually need one.....that is a real concern.
If they have allergies then they do not need an anti-biotic, they need allergy meds.
This is not just Ganny advise it is something you need to be aware of. I love all of you bunches!
I will definately be praying for my precious Megs and Ty...and for the Drs. to read their medical journals and studies.
Big TEXAS Hugs and Kisses,

Hope your kiddos are feeling better!
