[Lana 9 months]

Lana's 9th month is almost over. :( I figured I'd take a couple of pictures tonight before church. I brought her "Ellie" out to take pictures with her. They turned out so, so cute. It's a ritual every night right before bed to get her to hug either her froggy or "Ellie". I wrap her arms around the lovie, and say..."Love your Ellie, love your Ellie". This normally gets alots of giggles and laughs. Well, it got lots of hugs and big smiles for the pictures today too! I had her "Ellie" made for her right before she was born. "Alana" is stitched on Ellie's heart. [tear] lol. :)

Lana is crawling, pulling herself up to the standing position. Not yet walking along things...or even trying to walk. She is content on crawling. She does her one-legged crawl still. She's getting pretty fast. She loves to still get into everything. Trys to climb the stairs...uh-oh. Loves berry-berry Kix. Loves sweet potaters. Loves her paci. Loves her mommy. Loves her daddy. :) Loves her stroller. She does not love to be hugged tight. :) Does not love to be picked on. Does not love her brother and sister to take whatever she is looking at away from her. Does not love her brother and sister to put her in the hamper basket so she can't get out. Does not love the up-in-your-face-because-I-love-you from her brother and sister. Mercy, poor Lana...lol. She is going to be a tough cookie after Meg and Ty get finished with her.

She still loves to blow bubbles. Unfortunately, I heard the words "dada"... :) Fortunately...I feel loved when the only, I mean, absolutely only time she says "mama" is when she is crying. :) Atleast she says it. She loves to flick her lips with her wittle fingers and make noises. She is trying to make noises with her tongue. She is going to be a talker...I'm for sure. She is a pretty good "self feeder" with her hands now. She even chooses the cinnamon apple cheerios over the plain kix. Tell me that's not smart? Or maybe spoiled. ;) Still only two teeth. Still gets up once every night. Little night owl. She likes her sippy cup...but doesn't love it. She also loves to share whatever icecream momma is eating at the time being. ;)

We love our Lana alot. Meg and Ty...well, they still love her and all, but it's come to the point where they love to tease, bless her heart. They love to pick on her...they giggle. Lana likes to attack whatever they appear to be playing with...be it Candy Land, Jenga, Elephant Butterfly Flutter...this gets to them. A little. She's growing up! What can I say...she wants to be involved in everything we are doing, she wants to be a part. Of course, because our little Lana is a big 9 month old. We love you!
