[Bumbles]
Today started early. It started um let's say when I woke up from my nap yesterday,well...if I can call it that with the kids not napping and supposedley trying to play quietly in their rooms. I was up ALL night. Lana was going on day 2 of high fevers . She has a little tooth. I thought it was all from teething. but she was crying, as if in pain last night. Flexing either her back or stomach. Who knows. I cried. It was scary. Do teeth really do this to babies? I don't remember teeting affecting Meg and Ty like that. Or was it something else, I started dwelling on all the worst possible "what Else's" it might be. I was the only one up. I eventually talked to the Lord, and begged him to heal her. I hate fevers. and I HATE my babies too be sick. I am a natural worrier. So, me being tired, and worrin' does not mix well. Around 6:15, my hubs came to the rescue, he took Lana from me, and told me to go to sleep. It was hard, hearing her cry...I cried some more, but I eventually went to sleep. When I woke up, her fever...it was gone. God had answered our prayer! It just seems like a nightmare. Did it really happen? :) It did, but the Lord loves this momma and baby Lana so much. :)
James took her to the doctor, and the doctor said she could have a viral infection...and it should be over within the next day. It's over now. She has no fever. It finally broke around lunch time. I have my little Lana back. She's a wee-bit grumpy, because she was rudely awakened last night with a damp-cold wash cloth, and momma forcing her to drink from her sippy cup, but other than that she seems better! Praise the Lord! :)
So, now that I had slept some thanks to my wonderful James...I decided to finally post these pictures. These pictures remind me so much of me when I was little. Michael and I would go out in search of bumblebees all the time with rinsed out pickle jars. :) It was fun. We were always in search of little critters and reptiles...and even a chipmunk. Michael actually caught one, and my momma had encouraged it. I was cheering for him, he was running like mad after that ole chipmunk. He caught it. It chomped down on his little hand...and he tossed it. :) Never, ever pick up chipmunks with your hands. They bite. :) and it hurts. Momma and I felt bad after it bite him, well atleast momma did...I probably could care less back then. whoops. :)
Meg and Ty catch EVERYTHING from bumbles, rollie pollies, worms, beetles, butterflys (poor things), moths...you name it and they want to catch it. We went out as a family the other night and just had a great time catching fireflys. It was fun, and with the help of a little neighbor kid we caught a ton. I even got into it, running and such. :) What fun we had!

So glad Lana is feeling better! And hooray for James for coming to the rescue.
I remember you telling me that story about your brother when we were kids. Cracks me up! Did I ever tell you that one day when we were over playing with the Gregor kids (I think I must have been about 7) one of the boys stepped on a chipmunk that ran in the basement? Gross. But we had a little funeral for it. Poor little thing.
