[And Then]

The phrase, "And Then" can be quite scary at times. For instance, on Friday I had a bright idea...get the kids dressed go to La Plata and get their pictures. Their pictures for Father's Day. It was just NOT a good day.
We went.
My water spilled inside the stroller bottom pocket when we first got out of the truck. So, my camera had to then be placed up top. I've done this before, place my camera up on top, then pull the stroller cover back to make it like a pocket. It always worked. Not today. Today it was going to flyy open. The camera...well, this is where the "and then" comes in. I got only a couple of pictures of the kids, they were complaining of the sun. So...we were going to move. Move over on the other side of the street. We had to go over the curb. No problem...a curb, no biggie. Well, the stroller got stuck "and then", the rest is history, my lens is history.
 :(

My camera, well it took a serious nose dive right on the street. I grimaced, picked up my camera...I was almost afraid to look. I tried to take some more pictures. It didn't work. I wanted to cry. I yelled at my kids. It wasn't there fault. I had to blame my loveliness on someone. I then apologized, and bought them an icecream cone, still wanted to cry. Didn't know if my camera and lens were broken. Turns out, it's just the lens. Nikons are built seriously tough. Ford tough. People always tell me,  "Your camera is "heavy". Well, yup...it's built very good. After that dive, I'm so surprised it didn't break. Praise the Lord...only my lens broke. I'm still really sad it was my 18-200. My birthday present. Good thing I have other lens. Glad it was just my lens. Shew. It was a "dud" of a week last week. So, glad this new week is here! :) So glad. Today, was great. Keep it coming...the good anyway. [wink, wink]
Two of the pictures I took, right before the "And Then..."

:( I'm sorry, my dear. Those kind of days are stinky. You got really cute pictures, tho...if that's any consolation. Love ya!

Don't feel too bad, I would have probably yelled at my kids too. It's good for them to know mothers aren't perfect. Haha!

SO INCREDIBLY SORRY about the lens. That stinks.
