[Spud Soup]
This "Spud Soup" aka [tater soup, potato soup] is the best I have ever, EVER had! I wish I could claim the recipe as my very own, but I shain't [is this even a word??] :] This recipe was given to me by one of the most talented cookers/bakers I know. [is cookers a word??] :] Heather is always sharing recipes with me...and they are always delish! So if you ever wanna warm your gizzard on a rather chilly, blustery day eat this. It shall be a blessing to your soul. Mmmmm...
First insert these fine ingredients into your spiffy crockpot and chill & let your pot of magic work it's magic for 4 hrs on high:
1 tsp. garlic
1tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
8 large potatoes
2 cans of chicken broth
At the end right before your warm your gizzard add these fine ingredients:
8oz. sour cream
1 c heavy cream
2c shredded cheese
chopped celery [totally optional, well actually skip the celery] hehe.
THEN ENJOY.
Tell me that, that's not the best EVER "Spud Soup", yes??!
