Spaceships & Smiles

My children have a new favorite movie. In this movie, there are toys, spaceships, and a Mr. Evil Dr. Porkchop. My children play with their toys alot, but after seeing the movie, they've been playing with their toys ALOT more. :]

Tonight, while daddy & Ty were gone at the store picking up some vanilla bean icecream, Meg decided she wanted me to make her a "spaceship". She drew out some blueprints. She let me know, she didn't just want one "wing" she wanted two and so on and so forth. She let me know exactly how she wanted her "spaceship". Momma did her best. Daddy and Ty got home. Daddy helped re-enforce the wings momma had put on, and then of course, Ty wanted one, a spaceship of his very own. I knew this was going to be a serious thing for daddy. You see, daddy is a perfectionist...a SERIOUS perfectionist. Daddy made Ty's, this took some serious time! Tyler liked the end results. What fun we had...with a little serious imagination, and a huge, massive, emptied-out, cardboard diaper box. Amazingly enough the "spaceships" are still in tack, and the kids in bed. Ty loves his so much, it's in his bed with him. :]

Yes, below are a couple of pictures of the kids [One big kid, and two little kids]. Yes, we are in our jammies...it's been that kind a day, I mean we never, ever...EVER have that kind of day. [cough, cough! gag!] :] Okay, maybe we do...but still it was a vacation day where we just stayed home and did absolutely nothing. Nothing involved sleep-for mama, sleep-for Alana, play- for Megan and Tyler, play- for Daddy-his play involved his "Call of Duty, Black Ops" video game. I mean hey...we are celebrating "Veteran's Day" are we not!?? ;]
Megan's "Evil Dr. Gorilla Face" and her personalized spaceship, with daddy's re-enforced wings. :]
See daddy did get serious. :] That's some SERIOUS duct tape. :]
The "big" kid himself with two of his littles and their "spaceships".

Go make yourself one, makes you feel like a kid again, I PROMISE. Super fun! :]
