Potty Training NIGHTMARE

Have you ever wanted to brag on your toddler when they have accomplished a major stage in life because of how fast they did it? Well, I have been potty training Megan who up until this past Saturday had been doing great. I mean wearing big girl panties that she, herself picked out...and not wetting herself, even sleeping through the night and being totally dry in the morning! I thought I had her trained!! She was doing great for like two whole weeks! I wanted to be one of those mommas that said, "Oh yeah, I put my daughter on the toilet and like viola...she was instantly skilled in the art of using the "BIG girl potty"! Well, I am sad to say that while shopping in one of my favorite stores this past Saturday...Megan had a accident(yes, she was not wearing pull-ups, but big girl panties), a BIG accident. Evidentially she must have downed like 100's of gallons of liquid because before our very eyes she wet herself and everything in the bottom of the cart! It was like everywhere! So much for bragging rights!!!=) People where walking and looking and wondering, while we bucketed, I mean cleaned up the mess! How embarrassing!! Yes...it was totally humiliating. Although, the mother's with toddlers that passed had sympathy for us=)! Meg got a new dress out of the whole incident, hopefully she didn't catch that part because I never ever want that to happen again!!
