[The Park & A Frog]
A few days ago, I went to the park. I must admit, I do NOT like parks. My kids like parks, I used to like parks. But it seems ticks find me at parks. I'd much rather sit in my car and hide from the ticks then go trompin through a park. Anywayzz, I went to the park. My momma went with me. I love my momma. She seems to love the parks. Which behooves me. What does "behoove" mean? I have no earthly idear, but it sounds like it fits. :) I'm weird. I know. My mom walked down to the lake with Meg and Ty, while I pushed Alana for a couple minutes on the swing, and then sat and waited patiently to leave the park. I waited and waited. Started to break a sweat, not because I feared getting a tick [haha sounds like a disease or something] but because I was hot. Two hot days in the matter of a couple weeks. I digress... I started heading to the truck without the kids and my momma, and then heard my name, "MOMMA" "MOMMA"!!! Sounded pretty serious, sounded pretty, like... look NOW momma. LOOK. So, um, I looked and lo and behold Meg, mini me, found a frog. I loved frogs as a kid. Notice I used the past tense. :) Yup, I used to catch and hold and kiss um. Okay, maybe not kiss them but yeah I loved them. Digressing again. I had to convince Megan that she could not bring the froggy home with us. She was crushed. Sorry hunny. Sorry, I can only imagine Mr. Froggy getting loose in the car. Yeah that'd be tragic. She let him go. It was sad. I was happy. We had fun. I think. :) j.k. It was a blast. Thanks momma for hangin with the youngin'. :)
Lana-pu and her chunky-monkey legs. Her first ride on a park swing! She loved it!
If Meg were me, she would, WOULD ABSOLUTELY call him Mr. Darcy. YUP. If she were me, but since she is she, she calls him things like "Hoppy", "Froggy" and random uncool things like that. haha. :) Tyler kept his distance. He enjoyed Mr. Darcy a.k.a. Mr. Froggy at a distance. So did his mommy.
[Does it look like the Froggy frowneth?]
Poor, poor froggy!

3 left some love:
What cute chubby legs! I am glad Mr. Darcy aka Hoppy stayed at the park to play!
Hugs and Kisses
Granny
you could have held the frog on your lap to make sure he didn't get loose, ya know? ;)
Oh my, Alana looks so chubby and cute!! LOVE it! My kids have been catching toads lately that are hidden in our field in the sand. I loved frogs as a kid. Now I will touch it if I have too, but don't really want to! Love the name. Who can't love Mr. Darcy? =)
