[The Bib]
Why do babies need bibs? Because their little chubby fingers love to grab, & smear. I must admit, it took me a bit of time to sew "the bib", so when it actually came time to use it, well I was hesitant. :) I mean it looked so purtee. So...as we speak the bib is in the washer. I'm crossing my fingers, toes, and braiding my hair hoping that the sweet potaters come out of the bib. I mean, I love that bib. It's not one of the uglys from the stores, it was made with love. Momma's love. That same love was a wee bit disappointed when the first potaters smeared on my creation. :) "What the world Alana! Why must you actually get stuff on the bib?!" Why doesn't your 6 mo. old self be more careful? Buttt.... it's okay, I'm over it. I think. :)
For the pictures sake, I allowed Alana to hold the food. I was trying to look like a relaxed, chilled, cool, get-as-much stuff-everywhere-as-much-as-your-little-self-,like,-desires-and I'll be-totally-chilled-about-it kind of momma and not the aggressive, oh my soul-- a drop of milk splattered on the table... I must wipe it up NOWWWW, hurry...it's the end of the world.Mercy, get me a paper towellll! type of momma. Sadly, I'm one of those mothers who rather her kid not make a mess. Yup, I'm one of thosssse. Are you? Probably not. But I am. I'm kind like that in front of the camera. [blush]
[--cringe--] Notice, that like, the whole thing of taters are on the bib. :/ Yikes. :)
P.S. Yet, again thanks goes out to Mary for helping me, and instructing me on how to correctly sew the bib and um, properly thread my machine. :) It's her fault for my new addiction. All the blame on MARY.

1 left some love:
I love the bib! Too cute! Is that Amy Butler fabric?
Yeah, and I hate to admit it but I have to try really hard not to freak out at messes. I like CLEAN!
