The Vaughns: Tutu Girl

Meet "Tutu" girl. I tried. :] This little girl would not co-operate when she was awake, so here are some more of her doing what she does best right now...sleeping. :] And remember the adorable baby gap shoes?? yes?! well, she kept kicking them off in the pictures so hence no cute little shoesies in the pictures, just cute lil' tootsies. ;] Which isn't all that bad either since I love, Love, LOVE little piggies. ;]

She is such a sweet baby, I am so for real. She has slept like 6-7 hrs. straight during the night, the last two nights. At first, I was worried...and was going to wake her but a friend told me, "Why wake a sleeping baby?!" So...I let the baby sleep. Should this become a habit..."NICE"!!! ;] "SHAWEEETTTT"!!! That is not the only reason I think she is sweet, she has the greatest little personality...so content. She loves her paci [aka binkie, bipple???! what do you call it??]. Doesn't know how to keep it in her mouth all the time...this makes your arm seriously tired at times. But why complain, she is just too cute and sweet. :] She has even smiled at this momma, not only once but twice. Yes, she always smiles in her sleep which is followed by loud sounds, and then a heavy diaper. But these two "cherished" smiles were when she was awake looking at me, and I was talking to her. [SMILE, MELT] So not gas. ;]

Love to see my kids kiss her, then daddy gets home and holds her, kisses her, and talks in "high-pitched, silly" tones that make this momma smile. So sweet. Tyler, may be getting tired of her. :] My dad always ask him, "Can I have her, I don't have a baby in my house anymore?!" Tyler used to respond, "NO" but yesterday, he said, "Papaw, you can have her, she can sleep in the room downstairs." I don't know if this is Ty trying to "share" with Papaw, or if this is Ty not wanting his little sissy anymore. :] hehe. But he still kisses her and so on...so I know, he loves her! Maybe, it's Ty just trying to be sweet. Yes...that must be it. :]

Alana turned a whole "two weeks" old yesterday. And to celebrate we [momma, megan, ty, and the lil' one herself] went to Target and her first ever church service. She slept through both. The only person to hold her at church was "Uncle" Mike. He always comes and holds her...I'm feeling something, hehe. Hope he and Rachel catch some "baby fever" soon. hehe. Uncle Mike returned the poor little sweetie when she made a diaper...why? Uncle Mike... ;] Anywho, I'm so thankful for this little girl...I prayed for her and can't believe she is already here, and two weeks old already. WOW.
