Blue Crabs Baseball
Anyone who knows me, knows, I was obsessed with the Orioles, and Brady Anderson while growing up. I tried to, on occasion, convince James, he liked Brady...but it didn't work. So, after getting married...we went to an occasional O's game here and there...then we had children and the games became quite sparse. ;)
We did, however, bring the kids once...and only once to a Nats game. It was quite a disaster, to say the least. I think, Ty was like just two and Meg just three. Yah, what in the WORLD were we thinking?!! I vowed I would never ever bring my children to another baseball game until they were a bit older.
This past Friday, we went to the Blue Crabs to enjoy a game of baseball. It was quite fun. We sat on blankets in the outfield...{right by the opposing teams bullpen}, the kids could get up whenever they liked. They very much liked the fact that they could climb and hang on the lovely bars. Mommy liked this fact too! :) We, basically, controlled the little monsters by feeding them. :) We ate hot dogs in the first inning...momma ate a hamburger, daddy ate a sausage dog [or something of the sort]. We ate icecream in the 4th inning. And in the 6th inning we ate nachos. What better thing to do than eat yummy, inexpensive [cough, cough] concession food. During all the middle innings we downed caffeine and such. I felt the after effects from this when I got home. :) So did baby girl.
Overall, it was a perfect family fun-filled evening! We laughed. We ate. They played. We watched. We cheered. It was fun! We are deff. going to do this again. We left in the bottom of the 6th. The Crabs were winning. The kids were still happy...so, we, the parents, stayed happy!:)
Last but not least...the typical Megan face. She's done this face since like birth. It cracks me up. Wow. :) Love this little booger!

You forgot to mention the last time Granny and Pappy were in the mix, and as I recall not so many smiling faces.
Love All Y'all Bunches, Granny
