My life

So many things have been accomplished in the last week. For one, I'm 26 years old and now am a proud driver of things that go in the state of Maryland. ;) Yes, I know, pretty pathetic. It still has been challenging. I get so stinkin' nervous. Man, merging...people around this blessed D.C. area are not, I repeat, are NOT kind! I spare you, by not showing you the actually license in itself. It's scary. Imagine, hot muggy day, plus a quick shower [rain shower]. Yeah. WOW. [clearing my throat] :)

My second accomplishment is driving alone, driving in the rain, driving at night...and skidding. This all happened in the same day. GULP. T'was a wee bit frightening. I'm managing. I'm praying. I'm sweating. I'm eating my Halls.  I'm drinking. [my water...ahem...had to clear that one up. hehe] When the kids are in the car, they announce their presence by declaring the music TOO low, the air on TOO high, the air not on high enough, "Tyler touched me", "Megan has my toy", "Mommy, your driving TOO slow",  "Mommy, mommy, Mom-MYYYYYY". Yes, I then shout at them ever so kindly to be quiet. Ahem. Notice the italicized word. :)

One of my first joy rides was to the lovely grocery store. Imagine this, I'm a momma of two and for the very first time entered ALONE with them. GULP! This might be a tad bit more frightening then the driving. hehe. It wasn't all that bad. We saw a large dead moth there in Safeway. Not that you wanted to know that but, thought I'd share. So, the conversation of the dead moth carried on through out the store. Like, "Momma, poor moth, I think it was the daddy. He just wanted to get outside and see his baby". "Poor moth." "Poor moth." "Poor moth" {get the picture} :) "Momma, that's Quge." Meg says  "Quge" instead of "Huge". Strange, yes, but cute so I don't correct her. :) Am I mean? We ended up not spending an arm and a leg and made it out alive.

Then we ventured on to the library. This was pure genius of me...the kids loved it. I had to remind them that we must whisper in the library. Tyler thinks that whispering is yelling in a, oh what would you call it, a ...loud, soft high pitched tone while covering his mouth with his hand. Does this make sense? :) He's so funny. They both loved picking out books, and fighting over the kid's computer, and jumping on the number rug. Was pure awesomeness.

So...I have accomplished quite a bit this week. Oh, oh...don't forget about me pumping the gas for my mama-mobile. T'was a sight, I'm sure. Had to ask someone...oh nevermind.  Driving. Me. How exciting.

So...also this week I'm going to accomplish making it out of my 2nd trimester, and making it into my last and FINAL trimester! Yipeeee...can't wait for my baby girl to get here!

The Munchkins with their goods. :)

I love the pictures of the kids, and good luck with the driving I know pretty soon you will be a Tony Stewart just whizzing through traffic and cutting off some of those not so nice drivers....just like James :) Love ya, Granny aka your (sweet and ever loving) mother-in-law

Hey girl, so glad that you are finally driving, I know the feeling when you are stuck in the house with two kids (sometimes it's just crazy) Looks like all my friends that did'nt have licenses are learning or they already have one. Glad that I'm joining the club too!

Way to go! I have my license and now just need to learn how to get around this new city we're in. The driving here?? INSANITY. Oh well. Gotta do it anyway I guess.
