Silly

{I had to put some sort of picture with this post} :)
It has absolutely nothing to do with this post...

just so you know.

Many silly things have been said in the last week that I must share.

For starters. The other day I was getting onto Meg and she simply stated things that were not supposed to be stated.:)  So, anywho, she got in trouble, and when daddy arrived at home that evening I told him what had happened, and he told Meg that she needed to speak right and have manners. There was this silence, this is when you know something is about to be said...sure enough...Meg piped in "Daddy, my manners were in my mouth, then they went down to my belly and they wouldn't come out...so that's why they didn't come out." Wow, Meg thanks for the explanation. :) Unbeknownst to Meg....mommy and daddy  had a good laugh on her.

Have you ever gotten on to one of your children, then you come to find out it wasn't them. Well, this happened to me the other day. Meg and Tyler were running around in the living room, while I sat at the dining room table...Ty came running up to me screaming, and saying "hit me...hit me". Instantly I said, "Meg, do not hit your brother...understand me!" Then Ty looked up to me with his pouty-lip and tears in his eyes and said "Couch...couch...hit me." I so, wanted to laugh. He is still at that age where he blames inadament objects for things that happens, this always makes me smile.

Meg & Ty had been drawing with their little boards...don't remember for the life of me what they are called, you know the ones that you can write something, then erase it, then do it all over again. yeah...anyway, they were both drawing. Then Meg declares from the backseat "Mommy, look I drawed a sock with a hole in it." I said "what" just to make sure I heard her right...sure enough I did. I wanted so much to laugh. Instead, I turned around and said, "Wow, Meg that's nice! Why is there a hole in it?" haha. It is a known fact that daddy has alot of holes in his socks. Yes, he is in need of some new socks...:) Anyways, we then asked her who has holes in their socks...and all she said was "DADDY!" haha. Okay, she doesn't draw a plain ole' sock, she has to draw a holey one. This too made me smile.

Then to top it all off, Meg last night made me laugh. After having Bible time I was kissing her good night and she said, "Mommy, we don't pick our booboos,  we don't pick our boogies, and we don't put our boogies in our mouths because they are not toys." All I can say is "WOW" I think I may have a smart one!:)
