My Week, Next Week!
My brother, and his fiance' Rachel, only have one more week to go Saturday! I am extremely excited for this week to come. I have a lot on my plate...first off for starters, I am in the wedding party. Yeah me.=) I am excited, although I had to order a size 4x dress. Hopefully it will be tailored down to my right size! Hopefully, I say...we will see. Then I am anxious about my attached son, not so much Megan but Ty when he walks down the aisle being a little prince, this is what I have told my children. Megan gets to be a princess, and Ty a prince. I tell them this, in hopes of them being excited to walk down the aisle with all the hundreds of eyes looking at them. Oh boy, I can only imagine what might happen when they get up there...luckily the bride has been so kind as to allow them both to sit on the front pew during the ceremony. Praise the Lord. We are giving them candy while they sit there in hopes of Ty not looking up and seeing me, and screaming "MaMa!!".
I am also excited because my brother asked me to make some cheesecakes for the rehearsal dinner. How exciting, I will be baking alot next week. Hope they turn out. My cheesecake for memorial day, didn't look pretty...I was in a rush, and then Tyler smooshed it. Glad everyone still ate it. I am going to make sure Ty and Meg both stay away from the cheesecakes.
Then looking forward to the Bachelorette party! Should be quite fun! I have come to love Rachel! She is alot of fun, and always laughs [at me too, which makes me feel good...] . She is perfect for Michael, always upbeat! That's awesome, I need to work on always being upbeat about things...your cup is half full, right?? Anyways, she has an awesome voice, she is very godly, and can play the piano like Mozart?!! He was a musician right??=) Can't wait to have her in are family, basically is in the family already.=) Love ya, Rachel!!
On a small, I mean HUGE side note...James said I can get the works, nails and hair done! Yeah, I am so, so, so excited!
I am totally excited for next week to come!! Yeah...all this, Lord willing!!

3 left some love:
Sounds like a busy but wonderful week!! I wish I could be there. I'd sit on the front pew and eat candy with your kids, haha. =P Still can't believe your brother is getting married. Crazy how time flies. I was going through a box of pictures the other night and wow do I have some that would be perfect blackmail, lol! =P Rachel seems perfect for him, I'm so excited for them!
We have a busy week next week as well since it's Caleb's birthday, we have three doctors appointments (all in two days!!) and we are leaving for the upstate New York because Steven is a groomsman in a wedding on June 6th. Whew! I'm tired thinking about it. Traveling all that way while almost 31 weeks pregnant is going to be interesting. I see a lot of potty breaks in our future!
I had a cheesecake not turn out the other week because I was in a rush as well. It had huge cracks in it! I've never had that happen before. Oh well. Atleast it was a plain New York style and I rescued it with cherry pie filling! Since you are a cheesecake baker like me, do you put a pan of water in the bottom of the oven while yours is baking? I just heard of this trick and was wondering.
Can't wait to see lots of pictures of the wedding. Love you girlie!
i'm jealous! i'm going to come get my hair and nails done with you! hope the wedding and cheesecake making goes well!
Congrats all around!!
I know your cheesecakes will turn out great..how much were those cheesecakes at the cake shop...$60ea..right? And you don't make plain ones, so take orders after the wedding you will be very busy.
Love Y'all, Granny
