Sweet Victory
I just accomplished something that I didn't think would happen until my Meg was older, alot older. Let me explain. Last week, I took this book out and got the markers out and told Megan we were going to learn. Well, she decided she want to throw a fit because she wanted to just scribble. So, I gave up...(yes, sometimes I do that to quickly =) ) I guess, I didn't completely give up because I got the book out again this week. And I helped my little two year old trace the letter "A". Over and over you can see we made the letter "A" together. I didn't know if her little brain could fatham what a "letter" was. But for the last day and a half she has been pointing out the letter "A" in words!! I have broken through to her!=) Finally she knows what letters are...well, at least the daddy "A"...no, she doesn't know what the baby "a" is yet...but I will get there eventually. I am going to drill the letter "A" over and over this week!
And yes here is a funny from last week after I tried to tell her what an "A" was. We were at church and she grabbed a Christmas Offering Envelope and there was a present on it and she said "A" is for present...that was when I decided..."oh, boy....this is going to be a long and treacherous path!!"=) But yes we have made it...at least she knows what a "A" looks like!

Way to go Sarah! That's always so exciting when you have a breakthrough. And it's so awesome when they learning something and you were able to teach it to them. I love the look on my kid's faces when they finally "get it." Definitely gives a sense of accomplishment. =)
You are such a good teacher, God has given you wisdom with Megs and Ty I know they are in great hands.
And of course they are little genuises..a Granny perspective!
Love y'all
