VBT "THE LAB"
Last week at our church we had Vacation Bible Time. It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of new visitors on our bus. Praise the Lord! The theme was "The Lab". There was a professor and his assistant. They had built a time machine in the gym, and every night they brought a Bible character back from the past. James was Saul , and Paul.=)
This is James coming out of the time machine as Saul...he was screaming "Where are they, where are the Christians..." Stuff like that...

Talking about why he hated christians...
This is when the assistant knocked Saul out so he could send him back...they meant to bring Paul not Saul...This is what Megan saw and went ballistic!! Literally...she jumped out over the stroller and was running up to the front screaming...for "Daddy!!!" and screaming that she didn't want him to go in the box! She thought "Uncle Mike needed a spanking for hitting daddy with the chair"...=) Poor thing...the next morning she was still talking about this. Also, she kept asking daddy if he was "Okay"...it was funny. We kept telling her it was fake. 
This is after James came back out being "Paul" now.

Poor little Megs....she loves her Daddy so much I'm sure it did frighten her to see her Daddy knocked out by her Uncle Mike with a chair then to drag him into a box.....very intense!!
WOW, James the role of a lifetime Paul. Paul was very intense I know your portrayal was pretty close to the real Paul....I know God was proud.

it was funny when I was acting as "Saul, of Tarsus" they were supposed to knock me out with a chair but the first time I was "hit" with a chair I could barely feel it so I whispered hit me harder which happened...so the kids made the "Awww Oooo" sound in unison it was pretty fun.
